We've been parishioners at St. Dominic for over 12 years. Fr. Tom Fanta is a tremendously gifted homilist - I always leave mass feeling like I've learned something or will think about something differently from that point on. Jim Carr is a real gift to our parish as well - the music is always lively and diverse - very different from the other Catholic parishes I've been to over the years. A welcoming church which is dedicated to the school (St. Dominic School, grades K - 8), the parish and the poor of the community. There are a tremendous amount of service opportunities available for all ages. The Catholic Church continues to draw criticism for a host of issues, much of it well-deserved - but this church makes me believe in all the good that can come from being Catholic and Christian.
