  • I recently spent 3 hours at CedarHouse and it couldn't have been a better experience. They opened May 2016, so they are relatively new. I have been here twice and both times was great. They have an online booking system that's super convenient where you can see what timeslots they have available and with which esthetician. Saves you from having to go back and forth on the phone. You receive an email confirmation after you are done booking. I booked a spa special (get on their mailing list) this time which consisted of a body scrub, deep cleansing facial and house pedicure for $150 so I called to book my appointment and requested that Karolina do the treatments, as she was great the last time. The spa manager Ing Martin and the owner Julita Borko are super friendly and always got back to me promptly. The spa premises is very nice. New, clean, modern and has the touches you'd want at a spa. I was offered something to drink when I came in. The room that I had my body scrub and facial in was nicely appointed, clean and dimly lit with soothing music. So for the body scrub you pretty much get naked (you are provided disposable underwear) under a blanket and get on a heated massage table that's covered with plastic. Only the part of you that is being worked on is exposed. The salt scrub here is the most awesome thing ever and lasts about 15 minutes. Karolina really takes her time and does a very thorough scrub, which is an amazing massage at the same time. After that's done, you get into the shower and rinse off all the salt while the massage table is being changed. Your skin at this point already feels amazingly soft because of all the oil and scrubbing. After the shower you lay back down on the table for an application of body lotion which is essentially a light massage for another 15 minutes. My skin afterwards felt like a baby's ... BEST BODY SCRUB EVER!!! The deep cleansing facial here was also much more thorough than at other places, where they either don't do many extractions or leave you alone for half the time. It takes about an hour and has multiple steps. I'm probably not getting the order right but first they cleanse, then hot towel, exfoliate, then steam (during which time you get a arm massage, not left alone like other places), extraction (if you don't get any extractions done on you during a deep cleaning facial you are wasting your money, you can stay home and put stuff and remove stuff off your own face), mask (only time i was left alone for 10 minutes), final application of a serum with a neck massage. Lastly, I had the house pedicure. Again better than most other pedicures I've had. I got in a comfy robe and settled down with a snack and beverage, in a slick massage chair that has multiple settings ... because after 2 hours of relaxation, what I needed was a massage chair :D The foot bath was nice and warm and really pretty glass that lit up. Karolina again was very thorough with the pedicure which included a foot scrub. Everything also seemed very hygienic which is super important. You are provided with disposable flip-flops but I suggest you bring your own, which you put on before the polish goes on to avoid smudges. And they don't rush you afterwards to leave, so you can hang out and let the polish dry. Overall it was 3 hours of bliss and well worth the money spent. The only thing that could be better is the noise level, because you do hear some chatter when in the spa room. But other than that this is by far my most favourite spa in Mississauga. The service has always been top notch. The prices for what you get is exceptional and the premises are nice and modern. Highly recommended.
