| - so i now live in chicago, but still visit arizona often. this was my go-to medspa when i lived in arizona and have referred several people here. i used to love this place as you can see from my original review from a few years ago. In about november or december of 2017, i called bev hills rejuvenation center to book an appt for lip fillers for my next az trip coming up in february. i booked the appt for the friday while i was gonna be in town as i was only going to be there fri-sun and they're not open on the weekend. Fast-forward to February, specifically the night before my appointment, i get a call from a woman here asking where i wanted my fillers, i said "lips" (which is what i said when i made the appointment), to which she said "ohh the injector that is working tomorrow doesnt know how to do lip fillers." like what the hell?! this was the night before my appointment! you couldnt have told me that when i made the appt months ago? or even just a few days in advance to give me some time to make an appt elsewhere since my time in az is limited? also, its 2018, what injector DOESNT know how to do lip injections? isnt that what everyones getting done these days? i feel like thats like a mechanic who doesnt know how to change a spare tire. i understand she didn't want me to have botched lips, i just thought it was so inconsiderate to cancel my appointment the night before when i booked it months ago, leaving me little to no time to book an appt anywhere else. she kept suggesting i come in the following week to which i had to repeat myself a couple of times and say "i do not live in az. i am literally only there tomorrow thru sunday. an appt next week will not work." so ya that was pretty annoying. brightside, allure medspa got me in that friday on SUCH short notice and my lips look awesome! super affordable and nice nurse too. as much as i've liked bev hills in the past, i dont think i can trust making an appt there again and risk it getting cancelled the night before because of their lack of organization and lack of trained injectors.
