This is the place to bring out of town visitors. It's a version of the old wild west. You will find saloons, gift shops, restaurants, a petting zoo and lots of other unique and fun things to do.
It is all outside so plan on wearing shoes that will get dusty and don't go on a hot day. Otherwise, you will be sidling up to the bar, having a cerveza and riding the bull. Which is what my group did. Does make for some entertaining facebook posts!
Be sure to buy tickets for the "attractions", but if you plan on doing more than a few you are better off getting a wristband. On the Friday evening that we visited, a lot of the stores were closed. I think because it was Cinco de Mayo and they were competing with all the Mexican bars/restaurants.
Anyhow, it's scenic, it's free to get in and it's something to do. A lot of good photo ops are here. It's worth checking out if you are looking for something to do.
