I went in there with an open mind. I totally understand that they are all students and it will take long so I blocked out about 4-5 hours of my day to make sure I had enough time. Although, I my hair stylist seemed super flustered the whole time, she kept saying comments about how frustrated she was getting, how she was having to stay late because of me being there, and how she never worked on anyone who had long hair before. Mind you she was in her 10 month of school and only had 3 more months till graduation. The whole time I kept my cool and tried my best to hide my frustrations so I wouldn't stress her out any more.
She put my highlights in, but because she didn't do a good job she had to go back in and add more color in there. Because she kept the dye in to long she had to tone it down which took another long process, she cut it and was confused the whole time. The color on both sides of my head are not fully symmetrical because two people were working on it, and she didn't know how to cut bangs either. I got in there at 1:15!!!!!!!!!! didn't leave the salon till after 7pm!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the end my hair seemed to have come out pretty good curled, but a couple days later when I washed my hair and straightened it...it was a HOT MESS! The layers are all off and the color was not placed nicely.
Many of the other students seemed to be doing pretty well, but I guess I got lucky and had the bad student!
