Not doing business with them again: Find out why
I got onto Craigslist to purchase a Planer. Craigslist said the Planer was in "excellent condition." I contacted them and asked them if I could buy it for less than what they were advertising. They said they would if I headed over there that day. I went there and got the product for the reduced price.
I went home and found out that the planer did not work. I didn't think it was a big deal and thought I could take it back a few days later when my schedule allowed me to and get my money back. I got there and they made a big deal about giving me a refund on a product that did not work. It took me about an hour of standing around and arguing until they final buckled and issued a refund.
They asked me what was wrong with it and I told them. At this point, while a bit annoyed, I was fine. It wasn't until I went back onto Craigslist a few days later to find that they had just reposted the same planer that wasn't working. Again, listed under "excellent condition."
Overall, I think it's a shady and hard to deal with management. If they hadn't reposted the same product that isn't working under "excellent condition," then my review would have been a three star and I would have likely revisited them again. But because they chose to repost that ad and omitted any deficiencies, I will not be visiting them again.
Also, I suspect that the reason they put something expensive like that planer is so that unsuspecting customers will buy a bad product, come back asking for a refund, and leave with store credit.
