  • Just to start off, I have been in the power sports industry for over 20 years, from a salesman to general manager, so I have a very good working knowledge of how they function. My wife and I have been looking to purchase a newer bike, and Ridenow on Boulder had a 2013 Harley Road Glide that we put paper down on. We did this the Friday before the 4th of July. Called our rep, Kristyne, and she said the banks are running slow due to the holiday weekend, so even though I know thats BS I'll give her the benefit of doubt and wait. Well come the 5th, 4 days later, still no call, call the dealer and hear the same thing, so decided to contact the dealer by email. Within 5 hours, the GM (Tina) contacts us and says that they are working on it an should hear something soon. Well today is the 10th of July, and we did hear back this morning from Kristyne. She said we were approved, had explained that my wife would not be back in town till this afternoon, and she said no problem. We get to the dealer about 3:15pm, bike is on the floor, look it over and ask to see her. She meets us, goes into the office, and comes out and says the bike has been sold!! WHAT!!!! Even after she assured me the bike was not sold this morning, and knew we were coming in this afternoon, and now the bike is sold.So either we were lied to, or they just do not care about new customers. This is the shady side of bike sales, and to me all they did was get me in to try and sell me another bike that I do not want. I had already explained why this is the bike we were looking at, not another model. Needless to say, this will be the last time that I purchase anything from any of their dealers because of this non professional shop. To think I was giving them a chance even after they damaged my friends Street Glide because someone did not reinstall the bags correctly and they fell off after a tire change. Bad Business. So off to Harley we go and it may cost a couple dollars more from them, but at least I know who I'm dealing with there. I do not recommend this dealer at all, and if I am out and about and need something, rest assured, I will pass on stopping at any of their other locations as well.
