I am neither a huge history buff nor a person who has the attention span to read every word on every plaque at a sensory overloading museum. But I love the Heinz history/sports museum. Spacious layouts, a thoughtful categorization of exhibits from floor to floor, and a unique visual appeal bring a lot of character to this building.
Don't bypass the sports exhibits just because you're not a Steelers fan. There are a lot of other athletes and team honored in this space. But if you do have even an ounce of black and gold in your blood, you'll be sure to get that roar-of-the-crowd chill while walking through the Steelers' displays.
