  • Can't say I'm all that impressed with St. Lawrence market anymore, now that I compare it to my local market on Granville Island. I love the history of the place. The food selection is okay. I couldn't find sea asparagus...): but I know that is a BC thing. The biggest issue for me is their silly hours, they close most days at 5 PM, and close Sunday and Monday, makes absolutely no sense. Maybe that's why they have to charge so much for what food they do have. I bought a sushi grade tuna steak here yesterday, medium size, for the exorbitant price of $24. I should have just gone to my local fishmonger.
