  • Finally a big named department store that has found its way to occupy the long vacated floors of the ghostly days of Sears. I've been waiting over a year for the opening of Nordstrom. Now, the time has finally arrived and today was the official grand opening. There were complimentary coffee, juice, water and cute pink donuts to greet the massively excited crowd. There are many affordable and high-end items that fill the three floors. The Nordstrom flagship store is a nice welcome addition to the Eaton Centre and Toronto downtown shopping core. I can anticipate I'll be spending many lunch and after work hours perusing the floors.
