I spotted this truck located in the parking lot where Terrible Herbst is on Craig and Camino al Norte. There was a line, but it wasn't too long, so I decided to check it out. They have around 45 flavors making it hard to choose. I asked about the difference between the pineapple and pineapple upside down cake flavors. The guy helping me said they use the pineapple upside down cake in one of their popular combos "Big Stick" and I remember loving those from the ice cream man when I was younger so I decided to order that. There were a few people waiting for orders ahead of me so the guy said it would be about 5 minutes and he was right. He also gave me a BOGO coupon for my next visit, score! I really liked the taste of the Big Stick and would get that again for sure. I came back with my hubby a few days later and the BOGO coupon was accepted with no problem. For flavors this time I went with grape and bing cherry. I liked them both, but the cherry was really good. The more I ate of it the better it got as the texture of the ice changes a bit and it's juicer the farther down you get in the cup. They are open late during the summer and have a FB page with a secret menu and current hours of operation. This place is an affordable and refreshing treat for the whole family during the hot summer.
