| - I would go here so much more often if I was still single instead of married with children. Speaking of Married with Children, it was from an era where arcades were in every mall and boardwalk, and Abari has a plethora of arcade games from the golden age of gaming: the multiscreen X-Men arcade game, TMNT, NFL Blitz! Pinball machines galore. It seems like they rotate "new" games in fairly consistently as well.
My wife complained that some of the coin slots didn't work - but listen, these games are decades old, and had issues back when they were new. They also have to follow the archaic law that makes you join their "Private" Membership. It's not their fault, but it's good to know upfront. They make you a Lifetime member for $1 - pretty good deal!
There are games packed all over the place, it's probably the biggest downside to the place - just too crowded. The bar is tiny and stuffed into a corner, but the prices are good and the drinks are stiff. The bar staff is friendly and this is where you go to get a cup of coins to return to your childhood for a few hours.
Feeling claustrophobic and bumping into a bunch of people drops down my experience, if they could expand, providing them 5 would be easy, but overall it's an awesome place to visit and I hope to return soon, hopefully during the day!
