I agree with other reviewers who said they just aren't as impressed by man-made things as natural things. I am glad we came here, because I've never been and I feel like its something you should see once. But it didn't take long to see at all (half an hour at most, really) that it felt like we spent more time sitting in the car waiting to go through the security checkpoint than we did actually sight-seeing. Admittedly, we didn't take a tour, and maybe I would have been more impressed if we did that, but the tours are very expensive (more than $30 a person). Actually, everything's pretty expensive. You have to pay $10 to park and $10 a person for the visitor's center, which was a waste of money. We mostly did it for the views from the observation deck but there is a much better free viewpoint as you're leaving to head back to Vegas. Overall, it was good to check off the bucket list but not some place I have any desire to go back to. The highlight for me was getting to set foot in Arizona, the 45th US state I've visited - 5 to go!
