  • Anyone from New Orleans would understand & appreciate why making trips here when possible is good for the soul. (but probably not for your waistline!) They've taken frying chicken & fish (as well as other accessories to those two staples) to a high-art. The fish sandwich, in my opinion - is a bargain at $4.80 - and tough to beat by any other fish sandwiches costing three times as much at fancy brewpubs. It's one of my all-time favorite things to eat in Charlotte. The fried chicken is a 10 outa 10 - you can't get any better unless your grandmother makes it. As other reviewers have probably noted, walk in ready to order and don't be on mobile phone! This institution is a neat experience and a must if you are passing through or live in the Charlotte area.
