There, I said it. The pumpkin custard is heaven in a dish. It is SO creamy, has SUCH a great pumpkin flavor, and is SO perfectly spiced. So often, fall is dominated by cinnamon and nutmeg. Apple and pumpkin dishes that taste more like cinnamon and nutmeg (cloves, allspice... sorry, didn't mean to forget those) than apple or pumpkin. Now, I love those spices (they are my favorite family of spices), and I am not a big fan of unspiced pumpkin. But, you've gotta let the fruit do the talking, and East Coast does this just right in my opinion.
The fact that the pumpkin custard is a limited time thing is probably the only reason I don't weigh 20% more than I do. It is the tastiest frozen thing there is.
