  • Great service and fast. I went into get my Nissan airbag recall taken care of. I realized that this was important and urgent because I read on my notice, "When recalled Takata airbags deploy, they may spray metal debris toward vehicle occupants and may cause serious injury." I called Peoria Nissan and spoke to Kevin S. on the phone. He was helpful and gave me accurate information: 1. It used to take months to get the parts, but now it is 5-6 days. 2. Nissan pays for the car rental they provide immediately when you bring the car in, so bring it in as soon as possible. 3. There will be no charge to me. 4. Getting me into a rental car and the whole process would take about 20 minutes. When I got to Peoria Nissan, I found the service lanes easily. I asked for Kevin and saw that there was a tag, Kevin S., Service Advisor. He came up pretty quickly, collected my driver's license and insurance card promptly. He invited me to take a seat at the customer waiting area that had touted Premium Amenities. They had coffee and bottled water. I was sorry to see that they had a cabinet that seem to have stocked baked goods, but they were all gone. I was feeling a little peckish. They did have an overpriced vending machine in the area. They had USB ports that didn't charge my iPhone, but I did bring my charging cube and used the outlets instead. They had high top chairs as well as comfy chairs as well. Kevin came by within 10 minutes to give me my documents. He said that a lady from rental will meet me shortly. He then gave me his card and told me that the parts would come in on Tuesday. I asked him if he could check on the Check Engine Light on my vehicle, and he said he'd get his guys to look at it for no extra charge. Lisa came by within five minutes and walked me to the rental: a new Nissan Sentra with 8000 miles on it. It was cool because it was a key-less car. Lisa wasn't really knowledgeable about the car, but she was super friendly. She informed me to bring back the car with the appropriate amount of gas. She also told me that Service would call and I had 24 hours to bring back the car. Kevin was true to his word, I was in and out within 20 minutes.
