I was in Cleveland and my friend asked if I wanted to go to Pittsburgh. I didn't see why not since I hadn't been there. As I was researching things to do, I found Randyland and thought it sounded fun.
Nestled in a somewhat quiet and subdued neighborhood, it was easy to spot Randy's place. A few neighbors were out on their porches and they knew exactly what we were looking for. The bright colors and unmistakable art drew us in. While we were there, a steady stream of people came in and out on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
The art reminded me a bit of Fremont in Seattle. Bright colors, collection of similar objects, and a bit of an original twist to it all. Randy was busy running around but managed to say hello. While we were there we met a couple from Cleveland and had a great time enjoying the sights with them.
I'd say that this was one of the better free activities I'd ever been to. They even sell merchandise here if that's your jam.
