Stayed for two nights at this hotel for a dog show. Chose it because it is "dog friendly".
We arrived at almost 1am and check in was very easy, staff was friendly. We had two "dog friendly" rooms on the second floor. Was unaware it was also a smoking floor, and none of us smoke. The stench is ripe first thing in the morning around 7, but it smells all day long.
Room was decent, pretty standard for an inexpensive Vegas hotel, however the shower head was awful and there is no fan or ventilation in the restroom. Gross.
Casino was extremely quiet. At least the hours we were gambling it was. Love the penny slots and the fact that they still have $5 blackjack tables. My only gripe is there seems to be a staff shortage. Yes we gambled at very late hours, but only one cocktail waitress for the whole casino? One front desk employee on check out (asked me to continue waiting in line so she could take two hotel phone calls.
Otherwise a decent hotel for the price.
