  • i see my review was deleted, as it was a less than favorable review. no worries, i'll post another one! i was a customer at bixels salon in mentor for the past couple years. i got married 12/7/13, and scheduled 15 appts between me, mothers, bridesmaids flower girl, etc. kevs step mom got food poisoning and ended up not making her appt. the flower girl is shy, and we ended up having another bridesmaid just do her hair real quick bc she wasnt comfortable getting it done by a stranger. so we had 13 people getting their hair and makeup done, and the flower girl and step mom didnt ensd up getting anything done. everyone looked great, and i have no complaints about my hair or makeup. in fact, i was planning on continuing to use my makeup artist, as she did such a great job. however, as we were packing up to leave, the receptionist came up to me and said i owed for the other 2 missed appts. i said i would talk to the group and we would come up with a solution. as im explaining it to everyone, the owner comes storming over and told me that i OWE him for the 2 appts. didnt even give me time to explain to everyone what was going on. we decided we did not owe anything. no services were rendered, so what did we owe for? we paid a lot of money for the other appts, so really what was the loss? so we left and headed to the ceremony. apparently, they called my sis in law on the way to the church and the owner screamed and cussed at her. saying we were rude and i was a b*tch. he had her info in the system, bc she is a customer. so basically, he called his customer to yell at them about another customer and insult them. he also said another girl didnt pay. however, she was sitting right there and explained she paid in cash. that was cleared up, he said his mistake. so the ceremony went on, and the reception. i then left for our honeymoon the next day and was gone for a week. he ended up calling my mom, another customer, so he had her info in the system as well and told her he was calling me all week and i never replied. well yea, i was out of the country so i didnt get ur calls. he told her he was going to charge my credit card and he was just calling to let her know. he also reminded her what a b*tch i was. thanks pal, real professional. he bullied my mom into paying for the services that were never rendered, and also made her pay for the discount he gave me... i was given a discount bc my stylist left the salon, so my next service if i stayed at bixels was supposed to be 50% off. he changed his mind and made her pay the full price, and for the other 2 appts. i will NEVER go to this salon again. i wrote another review on yelp, but it was removed today so i just wanted to let everyone know how the owner of bixels treats people. he calls customers yelling, and cussing and bullies them into paying for stuff that they dont owe.
