  • BUYER BEWARE! This place is pure bait and switch. I found a car I wanted on cars.com that was at the Camelback Hyundai dealership. The price on the website was $13,400. Not a bad price for the year, make and model, so I roll in expecting it to be a straightforward transaction. I didn't check Yelp beforehand... big mistake. I take the car for a test drive. Nice car, I told the salesman I was interested, so we went to talk numbers. He comes back with an invoice for $18,700?!?!?!?! They tacked on an extra $4,200 in dealer options above and beyond the price they listed on cars.com! What a joke. They start spewing garbage about MSRP, paint coating, and all this other BS. It's a USED CAR, why are we discussing MSRP? I asked why they just didn't include everything in the price on the website... and they gave me some nonsense response. Well, that pissed me off. I went to battle with these people. 4 HOURS LATER, I got the car for $13,800, plus tax, title, doc fee, etc. Even though I felt like I got a good deal on the car, I still felt a little dead inside. I walked out twice, they chased me down, typical game these dealerships play. They had to talk to some guy behind the desk, they had to talk to some GM, someone had to look at the numbers, they make you sit and wait and wait and WAIT! It's little games these dealerships play to control you, wear you down, break you so you'll sign on the dotted line and overpay for a car that you'll regret buying a week later. Please don't go here ever, unless you know how to play the game, unless you're ready to go to war with these people. Please don't bring your family, don't bring your soul. And ladies, PLEASE don't go here. If it's true about car dealership and how they treat women, bullying, intimidation, all that stuff. Just go somewhere else. If you're dumb enough to go in there, after reading all these negative reviews... bring a huge set of balls, walk in there like you're Robert F'ing Deniro. Give these people no respect, fight them on everything. Walk out, a lot. They'll chase you. Make them suffer as much as they make you suffer. Stare them down, in silence, make it uncomfortable for all parties involved. Scribble weird notes all over those pieces of paper they bring you, tear it up, throw it away, have them bring you another one. Tear that one up, throw it away, wash, rinse, repeat. Be ready to just walk away, from any deal at any time. Pretend it's a game, and the biggest asshole wins. You basically just need to channel your inner soul-less douchebag to combat their douchebaggy soul-lessness. On the bright side, I like the car. On the downside, I lost four hours of my life in this purgatory smelling of new cars, Stetson cologne and desperation. Happy car hunting!
