| - Something isn't right here. After searching online, made an appointment online to see a 2bd 2 bath apt. When my bf and I got there, we were told there were no rentals available. To overcome that strange and sudden hurdle, we told him we didn't need an apt until Dec (it's now mid July). The guy then told me there were no garages. I pulled out my phone and read an email that said they do have them. He said some units do and some don't. Maybe there would be one by the time we want one. I asked if we could just look at a model. He said there wasn't one to show. I said someone should have cancelled my appt, because I had driven from the east valley to see one. He apologized, we left. After discussing how strange that I would have a friendly inviting email, then be told something different in person, my bf and I called back two hours later. A female answered, and said yes, come on over, we have a 2 bd model you can tour, let me have your name, phone number, etc. I told her I was on the other side of town, and wasn't sure if I could make it. She told me wonderful their property is, and pressed for a tentative appointment for the following day. After confirming I could actually tour, and giving her fake contact info, I said maybe I could make it over in half an hour, but I didn't want to drive over if I could tour. She confirmed they had a 2 bd model they would be happy to show us. DISCRIMINATION! That is our obvious conclusion. We also emailed the management with concerns about our experience. Why bother when there are so many other welcoming properties in central Phoenix.
