First time here and this was totally not what I was expecting I think I confused the name with some noodle place I saw on television. I thought it was a noodle place. And this is sushi. I am not a fan of seafood unless it's shrimp.
We walked up to the hostess stand and this polite young lady with long hair asked us if we would like a table or to sit at the sushi bar. That is when I asked if this was just seafood. She said no there is beef and chicken. I was relieved. The decor is very Japanese. Bamboo on the wall, the ceiling had the wood and rice paper feel. Which gave a dim light, made it hard on my eyes to read the menu.
Thank god for Adrienne our server, because I know nothing about sushi and the menu had me lost. She was really nice and helped point out some good food! The chicken skewers with teriyaki were ok. The beef skewers with teriyaki were delicious, the meat was so tender and cooked perfectly. Each order is $13. I ordered a side of white rice $3. The shrimp rolls were amazing crunchy warm goodness and I'm not a sushi person but this is really good. My boyfriend ordered the spicy shrimp and I got to try that it was good, had some veggies in it.
The servings here are tapas bar size. It's good food but expensive as heck.
