| - I broke 2 tips on my acrylics in one day, which is really unusual, so I figured that since I was due for a fill-in anyway, I'd try somewhere new. My first impression walking in was pretty awful, because they had more drugstore brands of nail polish than professional brands--I even saw a couple of bottles of dollar store Pure Ice polish in there. Revlon, Sally Hansen, Rimmel, all kinds of random stuff. And the selection of OPI colors was pretty abysmal and didn't include any of my usual colors, but I had a Yelp deal, so I figured, why not. I started off with the guy with the glasses, and he was so rude to me that I broke down crying in the middle of the salon and tried to leave. The pregnant woman tried to take over, and she did the worst job on my nails that I've ever had. They're thick and visibly fake, and my polish has bubbles on two fingers. She nicked my finger with the grinder twice, and once with the file, drawing blood on the one she hit with the file. I mean, I add a star here for the fact that she didn't charge me for repairing the two, but that's being pretty generous at this point, because my nails look awful. If you do such a crap job that a former waitress doesn't think you merit a tip, you need to find another job.
