  • OK, we moved out of Southpark and have little reason to want to go back (just a boutique or two for me). Tried Baku again. Small bites, Calamari, Beef & Asparagus & their incredible mushrooms. Not nearly the crowd they once had. We don't order the Chicken Yakatori anymore since I found myself chewing and swallowing what I suddenly realized was chicken cooked on the outside and raw on the inside. I panicked then (last thing I need is Salmonella) & our server said they had just sent an order of that back for the same reason - there is a special way to cook done on the Robata grill, and if they get it wrong (chefs keep changing - not master chef I think but whoever is on the Robata, and they mess up). And again I reiterate - THEY KEEP BLASTING THIS HORRIFIC, ELECTRONIC, DARK AND MISERY INDUCING MUSIC. We sat outside before 6PM when nobody was there, so we asked they turn it way down outside. It was done and someone then turned it way back up. This is a pricey place, supposed to be a Japanese restaurant and any music should be soft, melodic and Japanese - not ELECTRONIC DRECK. Staff were all wonderful, so who is the nincompoop who insists on blasting lousy "music" that has no place anywhere other than a PORNO FLICK? Mr. "Owner" - are you listening, or are you just one of those "old boys club" guys who currently run this town/city? You are getting slammed on your salon Cutting Image and your casual BBQ place "Tree House".? No plans to go back to any of them. Better give a raise to your staff, I don't know how they can stand working there, they must all be good actors.
