Listen, if there's one thing you see in Pittsburgh, it's gotta be Randyland. Do you want your faith in humanity restored? Randy is one of the most genuine people I've had the pleasure of meeting, and it is clear he wants to see his city reach it's full potential. There's a good lesson here that if you want something better for yourself, you're going to have to create it. Randy Gilson does just that here, and his backyard is a fun wonderland for people of all ages.
Now be aware this isn't a huge art installation, but you could spend a decent chunk of time here checking out every little nook and cranny. There's something here for everyone, and if you too are feeling creative then you can draw pictures in the sand. Randy encourages this, as he says it brings more energy to the yard. There is a lot of positive energy here as it is, and the bright colors are a welcome sight in the somewhat dreary neighborhood. If you enjoy local flavor, I think you should really give this place a chance.
