| - My existing refrigerator died, and I went to the Sears Outlet in Bridgeville the next day, a Thursday and bought a Kenmore Elite. It was delivered the next day, but when it was plugged in it sounded like two cats fighting. The delivery folks loaded it back on the truck, and I went to the store. I figured that things happen, so I picked out another one, also a Kenmore Elite, plugged it in to make sure it ran, and set up delivery for the next day, Saturday. They delivered it on time, and it sounded OK and looked OK when we plugged it in, but over the next 24 hours, it never even started to cool. Ever been without a refrigerator for any length of time? Back I go to the store, on Sunday now. When they could not tell me when I might see a repair person, I decided to go elsewhere to find a replacement. They processed a refund and scheduled to pick it up on Tuesday. Monday night the delivery folks called and said they would be there between 9-11 the next morning. Tuesday cam and went with no pickup. Tuesday evening, the delivery folks said the store had told them not to come. Wednesday morning I call the store, waited on hold, and was told the unit was now scheduled for pick up on Friday. When I asked what happened to the Tuesday pickup, I received no answer. I then asked to talk to the manager, and the person hung up on me!
Bad product - bad customer service - if I could enter a negative rating I would.
Now I am sitting here with no place to put my new refrigerator, and my credit card company is questioning me two (2) large purchases because my refund for the second bad Sear Kenmore refrigerator has not been processed.
In retrospect, I guess it is my fault though, I did let them have a second chance for my business.......
