Attended a performance last night. The host was JJ Walker, with Denny Johnston as the featured comedian and Michael Finney as the headliner. Getting seated was very disorganized. There was no rhyme or reason for the general admission line. Drinks in the showroom were way overpriced and very weak. The host, JJ (yes, that one...from the sitcom Good Times) wasn't funny at all. My 6-year old niece and nephew makes me laugh harder than JJ did. What's so sad is he was pushing his merchandise and pleading with the audience to purchase his autographed Good Times cast photo and t-shirts. The comedians who performed were slightly more than funny. I had a couple of good belly laughs. It was nice that the performers availed themselves for photos after the show.
