Don't be fooled by the fancy new name. Park MGM is the same old crappy Monte Carlo. In fact, it's worse! The customer service is terrible!
They gave us the room furthest from the elevator next to the loudest people in all of Las Vegas (no joke). Don't get me wrong, we like to party. However, we also need some sleep. The walls are so thin that we could clearly hear the people in the room next door and they could probably hear us too. What sounded like 10 people, partied all night long in that room and we didn't get much sleep.
When we realized the next day was going to be more of the same, we called the front desk and asked to be moved. They refused to move us because they were "at capacity." How are you at capacity if you have people still checking in downstairs? Clearly, there are still rooms to divvy up you just don't want to deal with moving us. There was no way, we were staying another night in that room so we asked if we could check out early. Management agreed to just let us (and our money) leave even though we planned to stay in Vegas another night. Instead of properly dealing with this issue, they just made us go away. Nice customer service Park MGM.
Aside from the room fiasco, the hotel and casino are just not very good. No food options and small casino floor. Construction is everywhere and the exit doesn't put you on the strip. Will NEVER stay her AGAIN.
