Aesthetically pleasing properties, and that's what you're paying for. We lived in one of their two floor lofts years ago and froze all winter long with $600+ heating bills and were infested with mice (which we had to take care of).
The floors were refinished but there was zero insulation and you could just feel the cold air leaking through the seams. This isn't something I would overlook especially with single pane windows.
In addition, the open plan kitchen was great except they didn't seal the brick so on a weekly basis we were cleaning pans of mortar that was falling from the walls.
As far as the mice go, we killed about 2 dozen on or own despite constant complaints. This was the common theme, complaints were rarely acknowledged.
