  • Our 14 yr.old maltese has heart issues diagnosed a yr.ago. We moved to Vegas 11/16 and established BocaPark Animal Hospital as our vet since it was close. On 3/1/17 our fur baby was getting really bad and we were concerned he was going into congestive heart failure again. I called Boca Park and they said they couldn't get him in but he could come as a walk in but the walk in fee is $77 + any treatment costs and it might be a long wait!!!! What?? This is an emergency, during business hours mind you!! I called West Russell Animal Hospital and talked to an angel who said bring him right in, they were so kind and compassionate. The Dr. suggested a treatment we agreed on and we took him home. Today, our li'l guy had another episode and I called with a question and the Dr. got right on the phone and answered my question, again being so kind. I would suggest to all people with fur babies, go to West Russell Animal Hospital, they are wonderful.
