  • My insurance urged me to go to one of their "in network" outlets because the benefits were so much better... I usually go to Costco, but thought what the heck... I will give it a shot..... Yikes.... arrived at 12:10... closed for lunch... how many retail businesses do that these days.... waited until 1:00. Was greeted by staff (nice and helpful) who took all of my insurance info and directed me to the frame area. Selected my frames (Oakley) they were about $160 before insurance. So then she priced out the total for my sunglasses and the total was nearly $600 out of pocket AFTER insurance.... I thought OMG... ouch! Then just for giggles, I thought I would try Costco....even though they were "out of network"...same Oakley frame ($80) and sunglasses... cost after insurance was $130. Delivery was twice as fast.
