  • Got there about 9:20 am, 11-6-2015. No one in line to get a number. Great. Got a number. Finally get called about 10:35 am, more than an hour later. Leticia, counter 5, was to help me. She was very ordinary - neither rude nor friendly. I was doing a title change. She got a new license plate and I did not like the number and asked if I could have another license plate. She went to go check with someone and that person said she could not. She said the only way I could get a different number was to get back in line. Are you kidding me? Honestly, I don't know how the people working there can stand the voice over the intercom calling out the numbers. However, it did help that I had stuff to listen to on my phone and earbuds. Thank God for that. I realized Leticia was just doing her job and it wasn't her call to give me a different license plate. She HAS TO GO IN ORDER. Okay. Guess that's their policy and she couldn't trade plates with another counter. I would give Leticia a 3 star because she was just average and didn't go out of her way to do her job or give beyond her job customer service. As I looked at the LONG line to get numbers and all the people at the DMV, I reluctantly said I would get back in line. Great. The process of the lines is ridiculous. I wish you could check in online and get a number and then there is a count down as to when you're like 15 minutes from the counter that you'd get a text or email telling you they are 15 minutes out before your time, etc. That would be so much more efficient than the current process. The current process, I give it a 1 star. It's now 10:40 am and I'm back in line. Finally my number was called and it was now about noon. I get Connie at Window 10. Wasn't going to take out my frustration on Connie. She was SUPER pleasant. She was very friendly, very personable. I wish all the DMV people were as nice as she was. She made me feel like a person, which I did not really feel like it with Leticia. I give Connie a 5 star. So between the 3 stars I would have given regarding my DMV experience, it averages to a 3 star. Look for Connie, the blonde lady with a fantastic smile and hope you get her. I left about 12:10 pm - 12:15 pm, so I was there for nearly 3 hrs. Fun stuff. I get to go back another 2 times for my husband and for another vehicle that I am selling. Hopefully things will go faster and better than this time.
