rev:text	Took my 2016 Nissan Titan SV-Diesel last Thursday because a DEF code (see dealership) Not only does Nissan in General try to make more money for something we should not be even be paying for, we took our 16 TITAN Diesel Truck last Thursday to ABC Nissan and wanted to charge us $375.00 for draining the Tank used for the DEF liquid, we kept getting an ERROR DEF CODE SEE DEALERSHIP-CAR WILL RUN 5MP in the next 180 miles. Obviously we took it immediately to a dealership ABC NISSAN tried to blame that we were using the wrong DEF even took a swap test sample that it came back contaminated. We ended up calling Pinnacle Nissan and the service rep that picked up the phone said that ABC Nissan was NUTS!!! We explained what was going on and even said we were using the universal BlueDef Diesel Exhaust Fluid and never had a problem. So we took it to Pinnacle Nissan with the hopes that they were going to fix it soon and just clear out the code. We dropped of the vehicle Thursday evening, called us that it was fixed by the next day Friday evening. Keep in mind I needed a rental to get around, Peter had previously said he would take care of it. When I went in on Friday evening to pick up the truck the code appeared once again, the backup rep for Peter at the time said NISSAN GURANTEED would not cover if the tank is contaminated. REGARDLESS we had to leave the truck and get this fixed ended up getting the rental again from Thursday 8/10-8/17 which I just dropped off, turns out there is a RECALL on what the code my truck was coming up with (OBD CCV) Software issue, on all Diesel 2016-2017 Titan Trucks. SOOOOOO this rep CISCO was just trying to make money out of us! I would never take my Truck here again, nor would I ever purchase a Nissan vehicle again (NOTE: we have two car leases with Nissan) this was not right!!!! You would think they would treat you better! NO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE FOR CAR SERVICE. .
