Very poorly run company. I wrote this review in hope to save someone else thousands of dollars and a lot of headache/frustration!!
I rented a home from this company and thus decided the use them as the property managers on my home. I had minimal problems as a tenant renting a property in Verrado but each time I needed something I had to ask multiple times.
As a property owner, I should have run from this company during the first problem- my home needed a couple small repairs before my tenant moved in. The companies 3rd Base Realty chose were horrible. Worst workmanship I've ever seen- it was like Jeff hired them and paid them a fraction of the money that he charged me. When I let Jeff know I was unhappy with their performance he responded that they've been fired and they're using better companies now. Great.
During my tenants move out, Jeff met them there and finished their walk thru and told me there was no problems. Jeff was busy and unable to meet me for an owner walk-thru so I went to the home on my own that day. Immediately I noticed the smell of cigarettes throughout the house! In my lease their was a specific mention of non smoking requirement. I asked Jeff how I could remove the stench and he said he would call me that afternoon. Almost immediately I received an email for a work order for an Ozone Machine to be processed. I sent Jeff a text immediately and let him know that I didn't want any work to be done until we've spoken (I was still waiting for his phone call). He responded that he would call me before work was performed.
The next few days I didn't hear from Jeff, I let him know that I was going to have a painting company come for a quote -he suggested his painter because he earns a fee for their services but I declined due to the poor workmanship that I experienced in the past I was going to get my own company.
I stopped by my house to meet the painting company and lo and behold, Jeff had hired the Ozone Machine company to come in.... the ozone smell was awful. When I called him to ask about it, he denied. I recorded all of our phone conversations because of his lies. He said he would help in paying to repaint to cover the Ozone smell, then in the end he only have a couple hundred dollars when the job was ten times that amount. He really made the rental management company experience terrible. I hope that people keep him accountable for performing unauthorized work in your home! Unfortunately I lost a lot of money in my dealings with Jeff.
The one positive that I should mention is the monthly accounting has always been accurate. Beyond that, it was a terrible experience.
