  • What a gem of an independent store. Abound not cluttered, smells of books not dust....this store has new and gently enjoyed books with enough selection that you don't feel overwhelmed. I bought three children's books but could've bought myself a shelf full of Marvel books. Alas, I have a plane to board and cannot bring it all back with me. Doug is knowledgable and passionate about his business and neither stuffy nor pushy. Toronto has many must-visit stops for me. I just added another one to my list. Great business Doug! It was a pleasure to chance upon this gem.
