  • After getting a flat tire on vacation, three states away from home, we dropped in at National Tire & Battery desperate for help. We had already been turned away by another NTB a few miles away because they were "too busy" to change our tire. The reps at the Pearl Street location took care of us right away. They evaluated what needed to be done, brought in the car and changed the tire. It took about 45 minutes. Again, there was no wait time beforehand. While the tire was being changed one of the reps offered to go across the street and get doughnuts for us from Krispy Kreme. He said we were "his guests" and he wanted us to be comfortable. We felt that they went above and beyond to make our experience a good one. What was a very inconvenient, stressful situation became significantly better because of the attentiveness of the employees and the speed of the tire change. I highly recommend this National Tire & Battery location. I can't speak for the chain or other locations, but these guys rock.
