  • Pleasantly surprised! Felt like I was in Europe -- pleasing grownup atmosphere, nice lighting, pleasant background music, I could hear my friends, attentive but not in-your-face service, no Leafs pennants or giant TV screen ... PLUS interesting and well-made cocktails, short but excellent wine list, and very good food -- terrific steak, and a crème brûlée that's far and away better than that served in places that claim to have "Toronto's best". In short, definitely worth return visits.
