This is my 2nd visit to Super L ranch. The first time I went, the hot food did not look appetizing.
My first trip: I bought lamb dumplings and aloe - they were reasonably price and they accept credit cards so I was happy because I don't know much asian grocery stores in Phoenix.
My second trip - I came here for lunch with a coworker who recommends this place for cheap, affordable and good Chinese food. I couldn't decide what I wanted because the food just looks okay, it didn't look appetizing in the hot food section. I decided not to order the food that was sitting there so I decided to order something else. I went around to the other side where I can order food ready to cook. I couldn't decide what I wanted. I always love chow fun (with the sauce or the 'wet' one) but I didn't see it on the menu. I decided to try to the singapore noodles.
The service is slow but the guy at the counter is nice. He has decent English. I asked for hot sauce on the side and he was happily able to accommodate.
Now time for the food - the singapore noodles came in a styrofoam container (I hate these containers but I think it's because living in SF made me realize I rather use non-styrofoam containers). The noodles were short, I expected them to be longer. The flavor was decent but it could definitely have more flavor to it. I didn't taste msg or anything in my food. There were a few pieces of shrimp, not too much. It had bbq pork in it too, just a little pieces. There was a lot of noodles and onions, it would have probably been better with a tab bit more vegetables and meat. Overall, it's decent. I probably would go again and try a different dish. It's not that expensive. One dish can last 2-3 meals and it's about $5-6, so not too shady!
Parking here is easy. (The first time I came I didn't know how to find the parking but it's just a lot, I parked on the lower level before...stupid of me.)
