I'm having trouble picking a rating so here's my brainstorm:
Selection: 5 stars. Lots of organic and local options. Some things you can't get anywhere else. Also a few conventional products. Pretty much a full holistic pharmacy, section as well and the hot/salad bar have a good variety. You could do all your grocery shopping here if you wanted to.
Price: 2 stars. Let me preface, I'm saying it's expensive for what it is. OF COURSE the organic products are expensive compared to their conventional counterparts so I am not giving a low rating based on that. My complaint is that you can find many of the EXACT SAME products at places like Jennifer St Market, Woodmans and the farmer's market for less money. They mark up everything. (side note: if you are a Whole Foods or Metcalfe shopper, then the prices are comparable)
Service: 4 stars, nothing phenomenal but I've never felt the need to complain
There are other factors that I don't think are as significant like parking (they have it but it's often full) and location (it's near my house). Also, I would have given them props for being a local co-op but I feel like they are way too commercial and cooperation-like at this point for me to do that.
So the verdict: 3 stars.
