I recently bought a new to me 2015 BMW K1600GTL. The bike has a very low miles (about 1,300) so I had a full service performed at this location. After a short 140 miles ride the bike stopped running. It was determined that the fuel injectors were clogged. Since the bike is within its factory warranty I assumed BMW would cover the cost of this. The dealership however informed me that BMW would most likely not cover this as they would say it was the result of extreme lack of use. I left the bike there for a few days and when they followed up, Shadow the service manager, indicated that he's not been able to get a response from BMW and therefore the dealership is just going to take care of it as a courtesy for me.
I can't say enough good things about the dealership nor the service writer Shadow. I had my doubts going into this. I had a feeling that I might have a large bill on my hands but the dealership really came through. Shadow, thank you very much. This is what customer service is all about.--
