We have frequented Eddie's Place several times over the last couple of years living in the neighborhood and I'm just now reviewing! Shame on me!
Eddie's is a wonderful spot to come in when you're feeling lazy and don't want to cook, but you want to remain casual with no fuss. The menu is plentiful, there is always a daily special AND (super bonus) there is all day breakfast available. The portions are generous and I've never left hungry. The staff have always been extremely attentive and kind and the restaurant is always clean. It is definitely a neighborhood spot where they know several customers by name and life story but the staff never fails to be warm to first comers as well.
It's silly but one of or favorite things about Eddie's is how crisp the salads always are. Cold plates, chilled lettuce and fresh toppings, and the habanero ranch is an addiction of mine. For those who like to have vegetarian options like myself, don't fret, the red beans and rice dish is one of my favorites here (without any meat added) and they have a black bean burger as well (which you can add avocado on top for just $1 extra).
Overall Eddie's is the perfect neighborhood go to and we have utilized it many times as such. It gets an A in our book with no complaints!
