  • We are currently looking for our 2nd Electric Vehicle, and we got most of our EV info from Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre (located at Dufferin and Finch). Volkswagen's eGolf is one of our choices. We came here last Saturday, and the sales-lady was very unhelpful. Honestly, she was absolutely NOT willing to help. The info I got from the EV Discovery Centre is: All 2017 eGolf model is gone. But we can still put a $1000 refundable deposit with any VW dealership, and wait for 2018 eGolf model. Wait time should be ~9months. I guess for Town + Country Volkswagen, we won't bring any business to them, so we are not their customer = ZERO Customer Service. The sales-lady we met from this dealership. Once she knows we are interested in eGolf, then she told us we have to wait for one year... (Ok, October 2018). Then she gave us one sheet of paper, like printed from an excel file with 6pts font size, and ask us to read the info of eGolf. She doesn't want to explain anything on that piece of paper. It's ok, we can read, although the font size is very small. At last, she told us that we won't get eGolf until early 2019.... which is contradicted what she said earlier, we have more than a year, not one year. She just want us to leave, cause we won't give her any business. She doesn't even give us an option to pay $1000 refundable deposit... Seriously?? I contacted another Volkswagen dealership and said I don't need to wait until early 2019. All I need to do is pay a refundable deposit of $1000 and wait in the line with other people for this car. They just can't guaranteed when we can get it, but it should be late 2018. Honestly, what is going on in this dealership?? Town + Country Volkwagen, you are on my black list.
