I want to love this place. The AYCE price is $21.95. You can order almost everything on the menu. You can get a lot of sushi creations for one price.
However, the execution of the sushi was lackluster. The rice was toothy and slightly too vinegary. The fish items tasted less that perfectly fresh. They lacked the creamy mouthfeel of higher grade sushi.
My favorite dishes was the salmon tartare app, which had salmon that was admittedly sliced improperly for tartare. It sat atop crab salad, diced red onions, and avocado. The dish was good in a grocery store sushi way: decent flavor combo, but ingredients tasted as if they had sat out a bit too long. Not unsafe food practices, just not fastidiously prepared.
The salmon roe tasted fresh and was tasty.
None of the dishes blew me away. It was just an OK meal. The service was prompt and cordial but not particularly caring or friendly despite how close I was to the sushi chefs.
I wouldn't recommend this place. Their reviews are high because the price is attractive for an AYCE near the vegas strip. Thr execution was poor.
