  • For the past two weeks and on a Wednesday been going to Paint Craze for their Open Studio with Live Music from 7-9 PM. This is a non-instructional painting session where anything goes. Creativity just flows and the masterpieces painted by each and every attendee are expression of their signature work. Attempted to paint a Van Gogh "Starry Night" and really enjoyed myself. There is such a great energy that fills the place. Could it be the ambiance of being taken back to the 1960's, 1970's or 1980's with the decor that fills this place from Lava Lamps to funky retro furniture and other memorabilia. Definitely, a place for you to check out and hang out with friends. You are not left alone stranded to paint on your own! Kimie & her colleagues of artists walk around and provide support if you have any question or any need pointers. Great time to really tap into your creativity and just let the energy flow when it comes to putting your paintbrush to the canvas. Live music from the stage with Dirty Hippie. Last night they had a poetry reading, singer and many talented artists on the stage entertaining the painters. Drinks are inexpensive, served with a smile. My kind of place.
