  • If you have ever had an ill pet and had to make a decision about emergency care you know how scary it can be. Emotionally and financially frightening. Not only is this clinic state of the art, packed with knowledgeable doctors and caring staff-but they don't take advantage of your misfortune by abusing your pocket book. The prices were very reasonable for an emerg clinic and the care was out of this world wonderful! My cat Samuel was very ill - dehydrated, not eating, losing weight. He was rapidly deteriorating within a week. I brought him to my regular vet and they recommended 24 hr care. I was sent to CTVRC where the staff was waiting for me and Samuel to arrive. I left him there and the staff assured me he was in good hands. The next morning Dr. Goldstein called me and proudly reported " Your boy is eating like a champ." The fluids and antibiotics were working and Samuel was making a turn around for the better. He was there for 5 days and I was able to visit every day as the clinic does provide a family room with a comfy couch. Dr. Goldstein is one of the most amazing vets I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and has a real love for animals. I always laugh when he picks up Samuel after an examination and cradles him in his arms as he talks to me about the next course of action to be taken. He really does care about his patients! Dr. Goldstein, not sure when you fell out of heaven, but I sure am glad you fell in my neck of the woods....you are truly an awesome doctor and an amazing person. Thank you for giving Samuel a second chance:)
