  • Such a great experience! I wanted to go to a salon to get my box dye catastrophe sorted out and chose Salon de Elephant after looking at reviews, and I'm so glad I did! Their online booking system is really convenient and easy to use and I got a reply within the hour for an appointment the next day. Right when I got to the salon, I got a hot towel for my hands and my jacket was put away for me. Melissa was super nice and informative and we decided together to go for this beautiful pinkish red colour, and I'm super happy with how it turned out (it's very bright, but not unnaturally so.) I was originally just going to dye my entire head, but Melissa said that it might be better to go for balayage highlights instead since I don't have that much opportunity to come in to do touchups. And I'm SO glad I did that because it turned out so much better than I imagined! The entire experience was really enjoyable (complimentary beverages and snacks, comfy washing stations, relaxing head massage.) The price was definitely a bit pricey but worth every dollar in my opinion! I'll definitely be coming back the next time I decide to visit a salon :)
