Poorly designed. The seating area is way too wide for the stage. If you sit in any of the sections along the sides of the amphitheater the sound is terrible because the hanging speaker stacks fire straight forward and don't even hit the outer sections at all. Your enjoyable musical sounds are further blocked along the edges by poorly placed screens that hang in a way that cuts off more sound. Keep this in mind when booking seats.
We left our seats halfway through the show to try and find better sound on the lawn which did offer an improvement however the lawn area is treacherously steep and we saw several people awkwardly fall forward into the people in front of them.
Leaving the show takes forever and was a real ordeal as the entire crowd is uncomfortably forced through a narrow bottle neck near the front gate that would be certainly dangerous in the event of a panicked emergency exit.
Add on the $11 tall cans of warm beer and its safe to say that this is a pretty lame out door concert venue.
Tip: Bring a sweater. It gets chilly near the lake even in the summer.
