I'm new to the Phoenix area and have been to several restaurants here searching for standouts. Switch stands out, but not for the best reasons. I had the Ibiza Sangria Chicken Sandwich. As soon as it arrived I knew I was in for a let down. The menu states "roasted chicken". What I got was clumps of soggy compressed deli chicken. The bread was described as a "large rustic artisan roll". It was not large...nor was it fresh. Artisan to me does not mean stale and tough. But the biggest issue was with what is described on the menu as a "Caesar salad". There are variations on this dish available for the chef to draw from, however chopped iceberg lettuce with a few bits of romaine thrown in changes the dish into a mixed green salad, not a Caesar. Also there was no cheese, no croutons, no hint of anchovy, just the mixed lettuces with a Caesar-style dressing glopped on top. Sloppy, tasteless presentation of the food along with confused descriptions on the menu makes me not want to go back. Save some money, you can get something similar at Arby's for half the price.
