Came here 30 min before it closed so I'll do my best to give it the justice it's deserved. The husband and I came here on our second night in Montreal. We were looking for a fun, low key place to grab a few drinks. Knowing it was suppose to close at 1am, we went in knowing we weren't going to have much time, but wanted to check it out anyway (I mean, classic video games?! Yes!).
We walked in and it was D E A D. There was one party of 4 there seemingly about to finish out their night (but not really since we saw them at the next bar) and 2 more patrons walked in shortly after us. All the TVs were off and no one was manning the bar so we waited a couple minutes until someone came out. The bartender seemed reluctant to serve us. When we asked if it was too late he basically said it was pretty much last call and that "I will be out of here in 29 min." A little off putting, but we were trying to be understanding since we did walk in late.
Prices were reasonable. The establishment itself was pretty dirty and uncomfortable. It's likely something you could overlook after 6 shots of fireball, which they offer at $16. Probably an ok place to go with a group of friends on a Thursday, but don't expect hospitable service.
