| - There are plenty of great things about Rockin Jump. We all love the jumping, dodgeball, and balance beam. My 3 boys love the rock climbing wall. We've found it to be a great way to extend our visit for another 30-40 minutes. After 40 min or so of jumping, the kids are too exhausted to continue jumping, but climbing using different muscles and brain focus.
I find the overall cost to be on the prohibitive side, even with Groupons. A membership model would be ideal. Our family would be willing to pay a monthly fee or yearly fee to jump unlimited.
While most concessions are overpriced and I expect as much, the service is beyond horrible. Of the four times we've been there (birthday parties, scout outings, personal trips), every time I try to spend money, I'm met with such rudeness - almost as if it's an inconvenience to take my money. Maybe consider a vending machine only model if it is truly so difficult to be helpful, pleasant and service oriented.
Lastly, as much fun as this place is, there is always an overall negative vibe. My interactions with the owner and employees are always tension filled, even if it's just being asked about my waivers while paying. We were part of a private event during "closed" hours, yet the owner allowed another group to join us without checking with us first. Monitors do not intervene with overly rowdy patrons and when I've asked for help, I don't even get acknowledged. This is a situation that could be fixed - and then what an even more amazing place it would be!
